accelerometer only X

I want to make a game for mobile phones where players will move through accelerometer. I have followed http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/modules/beginner/platform-specific/accelerometer-input. But I want to make a 2d game by using this script the player,moving the X and Z, and that's the problem, because if he moves Z moving behind the background and behind the camera. Any solution? Use a different script or otherwise solve it?

 

use x and y, as axis.

do not use z
