Well, I am about 50 mins north of Baltimore. Which isn't exactly DC, but it's the closest thing I've seen posted here to my area. So keep me posted on the interest level. I used to live in N. VA for many years, so I am familiar with the area and it's only about 2 hrs away from where I am now. Later - Brett.
What's up guys, I am at NVA also. I would like to meet other Unity Game Developers in my area also. Perhaps, we can set up a meetup.com meeting. That would be nice. Keep me posted on any info. There is a game expo event at GMU in October I think, we can try to meet there.

Unity Indie, Unity iPhone Basic, 27inch iMac, 17inch MacBook Pro, iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad and iPad 2 (yep got them all), also have latest Apple TV.
I'm in Arlington (near the Starbucks, LOL!).
I don't care much for Meetup, but I can arrange a group meeting through here if anybody is interested. I would prefer a weeknight meeting, but a weekend meeting would be possible. Cosmic, we can meet nearly any time since you're very close.
Send a PM with your preferred schedule. I don't mind meeting out in Tyson's Corner to accomodate Dingo. A weekend meeting would be more practical for bjawn.

Tysons Corner sounds good to me on a weekend. Let me know when you all want to meet. We can chat, and discuss what we are currently working on. If you are currently working on a game maybe even bring a screen shot or two if you don't mind sharing so we can see it. If not that's fine too, just so we know we are not playing around here and we mean business..

Next weekend, I should have one day free, I will update here when I find which day it will be and those interested can meet for lunch or morning coffee in Tyson's. That is reasonably accessible from Leesburg (straight down 7) and still close to Arlington. Quite far from you, bjawn, but you would be very welcome.
For a weeknight meetup, just PM me if you don't mind meeting in Arlington or Falls Church.

I am a weekend warrior so I will pass on this one. I think it might be a good idea to setup a private group on facebook for all VA, DC, MD developers, just saying! so we can share, links, code, ideas and make friends..
Yeah, I will get a weekend meeting together, this just happened to be an available evening. CosmicMesh and I will be there, hopefully some others will show.

We had three tonight, but I am hoping for a larger turnout at the next meeting which will be on a weekend. Probably a brunch in Tyson's Corner, which is obviously tough for the Baltimoreans (is that the correct demonym?).

You guys are crazy. Tyson's corner is always packed.
I will be out of town the next two weekends, but I will update this. I haven't been around here here much, because frankly I'm tired of this community. Since you live in Arlington as well, TLJ, we can possibly do a weeknight.

Occasionally I come here and check out these (community) forums also. I am not as active as before when I started with Unity now that I have learned Unity. I learned good info on these forums. I am currently working on my first game, a top-down shooter. Doing this alone, until I meet some worthy, cool, committed and skilled developers to team up with to work on future games.
