It looks ok but feels strange to put a 2048x2048 texture on a 200 poly model. It then becomes neither low poly or high poly if you know what I mean. I am used to a 512x512 when so few polys. Sounds strange?

It easier to change texture size for LoD than poly amount. So you WANT it to be higher poly?

    Interior Picture
    $inside.jpg
Interior is same scale as exterior for a more believable gameplay experience.

I am now working on a furniture pack and some weapons.
Would you buy 3 buildings, some weapons, and some furniture (beds, tables, chests etc) for $5?
I would make a bunch of little packs so you can choose which ones you want.
If $5 is too cheap please let me know and don't rip me off. I need all the money I can get right now.

Also leave suggestions for furniture and weapons-after all you guys will be the people buying!

Thank you for viewing and commenting, it means a lot to me.

Would I buy this? No. The quality is too low. The model is too straight and clean, and does not follow the normal "half-timbered" look. I would suggest working on making the house look weathered. I would also limit the use of stone to the first floor. Do an image search for "half timbered house" or "Medieval house", there are a thousand pics. Take a look at Arterias model packs and Dexsoft, they both have similar model packs that look very good.

+1 And if you make it better, I would say that it would be worth more than $5.

Do I need to improve inside or outside?

Inside i can make the beams look more bent, add more grunge.
Outside I can add more grunge, but the way the UV map was that i made, a bottom wall and a top wall share a spot in my texture, but if you guys promise to buy, i will redo uv map for inside and outside. I am trying to keep outside as low poly as possible, so you can have many in a city.

    Thank you for helping!

from looking at the image of the interior, you need some more joists running in the attic, cross ties, maybe interior lights?

    New grunged out inside texture!
You cant see it that well, but there are support beams to keep the roof up!
    $sharkbaitoohaha.jpg
Maybe I will make an interactive demo...
    Who knows!

Now im working on the outside texture, as it looks rather...dull.

    Another picture!

    No no no and no.
When designing any building you MUST keep in mind that buildings are NOT perfect!
Your outside looks dull and empty because of that - no medieval man could build a perfectly straight wall with no scratch or any defect, no pointy stuff sticking out no signs for primitive building methods, instead you use perfect shapes - square triangle etc.

@jedybg Thank you for helping me improve my modeling skills. When school ends I will make more. I admit looking back, the outiside looks very bland and primitive.

Seriously Kyzyk? "hahaha fail house"? Thats all you can say? Can you do better? Does your comment help me? NO. All you do is ask people for things and ask people to do things for you and you are laughing at ME for actually doing something myself? Be like everyone else and provide CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! Its not that hard.

    @kingrat thanks for your input

    Thank you Moon!

This was more of a texturing thing for me, not as much modeling, but compared to my first models...these models look next gen lol!
