This demo comes from my endless passion for this wonderful animal and for the film that made me love this animal, Steven Spielberg's Jaws.
In fact, the boat of this demo is a reconstruction of the boat on the first film, the 'orca ".

    enjoy

P.S. turn up the volume and watch your back.

Hahahaha I love it. I don't know if you scripted the boat to sink at a specific time, but the damn Shark made sure mine did just as I was heading to it, and then I got stuck in it, with it right outside waiting for me, lmao. Awesome :D

I found a couple issues with the player:

First, you disabled the right mouse button, but when the space bar is pressed it tabs the screen down (in Firefox at least). I would either allow right clicks or use a different key.

Second, your camera position makes the problems that water3 has with the transition from above to below the water very obvious. I would either move the camera higher or lower and then add something to hide the ugly transition.

Otherwise, it has a lot of potential to be really cool.

    Ciao!

excellent stuff, the basis for a great game/experience, shark could be faster though, and really ram the side of the cage and boat...

    I enjoyed that, cheers.

Nice, the shark did made me flinch sometimes because it either just pops up right behind you when you turn around, or just opens it mouth and looks like its gonna eat me. It also made my boat sunk :O

Not sure why, but this scared the hell out of me. Natural fear I guess. I found if you swim behind the shark, he never attacks.

Agreed, this is a lot more effective at being scary than most "horror" games out there...

A lot like in Half-Life, the Ichthyosaur levels (Although the game had horror done right for the most part).

One little thing though; I moved by the shark and it ate me despite me being on its side, and I wasn't in a location for it to be able to bend its head enough to reach me (took a shot 0.5 seconds before the fact).
    $SharkShot_43_2011-04-03T02:16:10.png

It gave me a "oh no, I collided with a too large nose trigger" kind of feeling (it broke the immersion a bit).
