That's really awesome. Loving multidimensional JS arrays. The new water looks really sweet too - any word on how much of the new water made it into the indie version?
Can't wait to get home tonight and check it out.

    Multidimensional JS arrays - good!
But why did Unity say 'update available current 3.1.0f4 new version 3.1.0f4!' [not 3.2]

stereo 3d support is what missing in the solid release.
Stereo 3d support can put unity on top of any other game engine.

Amazing, lets see what's new... but the new version shouldn't be 3.2 not 3.1.f4, maybe there is an error...

    @falkonragno:
There was a slight delay of a few minutes between the website going live and the version check updating. You should have 3.2 available now.

The "maximize on play" bug is gone, makes using Vectrosity nicer. :) This has been very solid for me, gives me that "Unity 2.6.1" feel--which is to say, it's really a great release, and it would be hard to go back to earlier versions now.

Neat, according to release notes the normal shadow options that people got used to in 2.6 are now available in forward rendering again

Also, probably the release note with the biggest number of bugs fixed, kudos!

FWIW, I just checked out some of Bigpoint's upcoming Unity games at the Casual Connect conference, and they all work fine and look great in stereo 3d, using the Nvidia 3D Vision kit, which supports 3d from existing content on a driver level.

I've got the new version and a few questions.
First, I can't seem to make the iOS apps display in OpenGL ED 2.0. The option is still grayed out.
My other question involves Android. Is it now impossible to build for versions earlier than 2.3?
I can't seem to get the Graphics Emulation for OpenGL ES2.0 to be usable in either platform. Is there something extra that I should be doing?
    Thanks in advance.

Edit: Seems like there is some issue with sounds if they're not marked as "Bypass Effects".

3.2 has broken our mobile car shader and we need to launch this week. Where can I find another download link for the previous version?

You folks have made me very happy with the Modo importer - I've been praying for this since I heard mention of it in the Luxology modcast!

...AND you've added Blender v2.5x importers as well!

Perhaps now I'll finally have a solid, working art path for animated and textured models into Unity!

    # Built-in shaders that perform Deferred Lighting, directional light shadow gathering in Deferred Lighting, and directional light shadow blurring can be overriden. Just drop your own shaders with the same names into the project.

?? Does this mean we could potentially rewrite the directional light shadowing method? Like if we wanted to be crazy and attempt a camera space perspective shadowing rather than the current one? (or even just change the step distances or something)

Networking: It's now possible to remove Network.Instantiate calls from the RPC buffer by calling Network.RemoveRPCs on the first NetworkView in the instantiated object.

    I can't believe it .. great ! ;-)

Eep! That's a concern. I was just about to upgrade for the vastly simplified internal JNI stuff, but if I can't build for versions prior to 2.3, it's useless.

I just tested it several times on my G2 and it works great. No need for 2.3 :D
It also seems to let most of the normal shaders work even better now. I had a bunch of shaders (reflective and bump) on moving objects and it worked incredibly well. Loving this update so far.

Thank you, we actually rebuilt the shader and it's running fantastic now. Thanks though!

    3.2 is significantly faster!

What's the trick to getting the Blender importer to work? I'm using the latest Blender build on Mac OS X 10.6.5. Still getting the old

"Blender could not convert the .blend file to FBX file.
You need to use Blender 2.45 or higher for direct Blender import to work."

    Any help?

Ohh, debugger attach to process. Great!

Can we invoke run with debugger from within an active Unity session yet? Or is it still all handled from the Monodevelop side?

Since I was one of those that complained about the 3.1 release, I must go ahead and say that this time I am very satisfied with the release, job well done.

    Wow, lots of great additions.

Finally we can change the fog mode!
Love the shadowing additions and all the extra shader features/fixes.

Hope the ATI+Windows AA rendering bug has been fixed.

Edit: Nope, still has AA rendering errors. :(

Congratulations on another great update Unity!

If I ever make it to one of the Unity conferences.. I owe you a round :) (David... let's keep the company size down to a $1K round until I make good on that shall we? :) )
