3ddude I have told you once but I will say it again, you truly make the best particles I have seen in unity. Your work is awesome for fire = ).
That fire looks good enough to be used in a AAA game like RE5 = ). I would have to concur with 2 thumbs up.

you can buy them on the asset store. all you have to do is register and buy it with either a paypal account or a credit card. it will then automatically import the package into your game and ready to use.

    Hey guys,

    Just a little favor maybe?

    If anyone has bought it...
It would be great to have some reviews!

It would really mean a lot to me :D

    Edit:

Just wanted to say, that video is really low quality.

The fires look a lot different in unity ;)

    Update posted!

I changed the crapy screenShot on the Asset Store... Just took a picture at a bad moment I guess. ;)

The campfire is changed to be a little smaller.

I am not really sure what you mean.... If you are having trouble finding it, you can just search "fire" without quotes. And it should be the first result. It is titled "Ian's fire pack"

To get to asset store: Open Unity, click on "window" chose "asset store". Or, open Unity in Windows, and then hit ctrl+9

I bought your pack recently and i like it alot. It gave me excellent ideas for making other types of fire.
    Thanks :)

I'm also trying to create an electric arc with no success up to now.
I'm going to check out your script.

Fire pack is being updated as I speak. Performance enhancements, and slightly modified textures.

    Cheers all!

I just bought the fire pack off of the Asset Store, but it seems to be pretty broken (I'm using Unity 3.5). The prefabs are missing materials and scripts. And, most importantly for me, the Scale script throws this exception whenever I try to increase the scale of a particle system:

UnassignedReferenceException: The variable particleEmitters of 'Scale' has not been assigned.
You probably need to assign the particleEmitters variable of the Scale script in the inspector.
    Scale.UpdateScale () (at Assets/Art/Particles/Ian's Fire Pack/Scripts/Scale.js:55)
    ScaleEditor.OnInspectorGUI () (at Assets/Art/Particles/Ian's Fire Pack/Scripts/Editor/ScaleEditor.cs:12)
UnityEditor.InspectorWindow.DrawEditors (Boolean isRepaintEvent, UnityEditor.Editor[] editors, Boolean eyeDropperDirty)
    UnityEditor.InspectorWindow.OnGUI ()
    System.Reflection.MonoMethod.Invoke (System.Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, System.Reflection.Binder binder, System.Object[] parameters, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture)

Any idea how to fix it? :-/

Solved :) I just had to drag all of the child nodes onto the Scale script in the root node. Sorry for the spam :)

    Hi,
Just bought this and running it on Unity 3.4.2 free version.
    Fire looks great.

However, the scale function isn't working for me, or I'm not doing it properly.
I change the scale amount, hit update scale, but the size does not change.

I tried doing what bdjones suggested, but am unable to drag the child notes onto the script.

    Any ideas?
