etoiles, blah! I was unaware of Doodle Bowling. Thanks for the update.

Our marketing team watches this topic and hunts for good games to use with our promo materials, on our website, during various conferences and demo showcases. So please don't be shy and spend a minute sharing some info about your games made with Unity Android.

Also if you ever need assistance in testing your games on various Android devices, just email me at oleg@unity3d.com and we'll go from there. There are not so many released games, so I am sure I'll have enough time to spend with your games at this point.

    Greetings, you're finally there!

Out of curiosity, did it take much time to port your game from iPhone to Android?

hmm I would say one day, but I have to admit it still has some visual artifacts... for instance my graphics dimensions are thought for the iphone 320x480 but Nexus One has higher resolution so the stuff looks small. This might be time consuming to port if we don't want to lose quality.

Small details like texture import settings and a bit of playing around with keystores also consumes time but I believe in 1 to 2 days you can port pretty complex applications.

btw, free version is out already :)

We've made Battle Bears Free Beta for Android from our Battle Bears 1 game on iphone. We're trying to get around that 26MB limit on apk sizes now to implement the rest of the game (somehow), but technically we have put our game on the marketplace.

    Hi all,

We ported our Unity-developed iPhone success, Paper Football 3D, to the Android platform not too long ago. We'd love some feedback!

I just released a game that I developed with Unity in the Android Market. It is called Zombies vs Catgirls preview.

It is not entirely finished, but the basic gameplay is there.

    Screenshots are attached.

    Bead Trail

    For Android and iOS

I just released my first casual kids game for Android and iOS. Bead Trail is quirky little remix of the old school wooden bead maze/puzzle games you would find at doctors and dentists offices. There are 5 different scenes with various tracks and cutely themed beads. You just flick or drag the beads around the tracks. Good for little kids. It's quiet and simple.

    and we're 12! Thank HairyMonster

In the meantime we're talking with Samsung to solve Galaxy S issues.
And we're waiting for Galaxy Tab and famous Orange 100 pounds Android to be delivered, so that we can ensure Unity works great with these devices.

Catch a Ghost has been published to the Android Market. I'm still waiting on approval for the iOS version.

It's halloween and ghosts are trying to escape the cemetery! Ghosts fly up from the bottom of the screen. Keep them from escaping to the top by dragging or swiping your finger over the ghosts. When you Catch a ghost they explode! The higher the difficulty, the faster the ghost fly and the fewer lives you have to spare!

Lame Castle was recently released into the Android market. Coming soon to iOS.

    Web version:
    www.LameCastle.com

    Our inspiration

Doesn't look like it's listed on appBrain either. The site says it only lists android apps that work with android version 1.6+.

Hmmm, I cannot find Catch a Ghost, Lame Castle and 2010 GISF on appbrain and www.androlib.com. Moreover I can only find GISF 2010 on Android Market.

Any ideas of a more reliable method of tracking and linking to released Android games?

Anyone know if our games not appearing on those sites has anything to do with what phones can see our apps in the market? Just polling my friends it seems like half of them can't see Lame Castle in the market and I'm guessing it's due to the Device Filter build setting.

spire8989, can you tell us what device filter and graphics level you set your build to? Have you heard of anyone not being able to see your game in the market? (or let me know my assumption's way off).

As far as being able to find Lame Castle here's my QR code:

radishan, I cannot find your game on appbrain, androidzoom or marketplace. However, say BowQuest appears on appbrain yet Catch a Ghost is only available at androidzoom.

Anyway, post updated. Thanks for your input.

    Thanks for checking.

Looks like appbrain finally listed it. Maybe it just takes a while to propogate into their system, or maybe my latest update whipped their server into shape.

Penguin X Run Lite was released just now
    http://www.androidzoom.com/android_games/arcade_and_action/yetisports-penguin-x-run_mzuu.html

Lite Version features 4 Levels ( vs. 25 in Full Version). You have to guide up to a dozen Penguins through the Level without loosing them offscreen, step on mines, let get them dizzy from magic mushrooms etc. Let them open doors by stepping on switches in an increasingly challenging manner. The game uses tilt-control, similar to the popular wooden labyrinth and chrome ball games out there...

Coderansfer from iPhone to Android was seamless
Mostly adaption for different display aspect ratios and some minor workarounds necessary
I was the sole coder on the project - was insane amount of work for 10 Weeks

Full Version is ready too, but there's no final decision made currently how and where to sell it ...
iPhone/iPad Versions ( Full Lite ) are out for 2 weeks already
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/yetisports-penguin-x-run/id397760189?mt=8

    21,5 games released ;-)

On Unite conference I met with some Android device manufacturers that were highly interested in Unity Android games for their new phones.
So this page is being monitored by cool guys right now.

I mean please do not hesitate to boast about your Unity games as both Unity marketings and 3rd parties watch that page and hunt for games to promote.

Our very first game is a small one Called DrinkIt!.

The game is very simple; you flip a card, you do what it says... or drink what it says!

We wanted to try something different that could suit for anybody in a boring party situation.

    http://www.appbrain.com/app/drink-it/com.Z3D.DrinkIt

    Thanks all

Oh, and we actually have Mana Chronicles ported over as well. It'll be released mid-December ;)

We're having a lot of compatibility issues atm... Id say about 30% people are returning the game cause it isn't running. However Android marketplace seems to have just recently updated with apk checks that tells people that they need arm7 and so on... so hopefully it'll drop.

Ok, it's not a game but....

Food Fight!, our interactive childrens book, should now be available on the Android Marketplace. It managed to spend a few days at the top of the US iPad book category of the App store a couple of weeks ago, and we've now published an Android version.

It's not on appbrain yet (and it isn't the 'food fight light' school day app), but I can find it myself on the markeplace by searching for 'Food Fight!'. I'll update this post with a link when it does appear on appbrain I guess.

    http://www.appbrain.com/app/food-fight-childrens-book/com.jellybiscuits.FoodFight

    cheers,
