    Hi,

    i noticed an issue when using the "Standard" Shader. There seems to be a problem with the Shadows. It looks like your objects are not completely solid and let some light through.

    See attached pictures. This is not only for the Airport Pack, but also for your other packs.

    Hi, This is a Unity 5 thing, if you set the Cast shadows to Two sided it goes away. Now really sure what that means for performance so we left it off :S

    The character PSDs aren't setup to be used by customers. We would get a bizzillion emails asking for support or new layers. Because the characters are rather simple, we don't see how it is hard to change the flat versions.

    Was thinking of adding a scene with a kind of forest or swamp theme. Animations would really just be walking, running, eating, and just other animal actions.

    I wouldn't be using them as the focus of the game, more like background objects. Of course that's just me :)

    I personally would just want the basics. Idle (looking around) Idle 2 (grazing or swimming), Walk, Run, Attack (if dangerous), Die. EDIT: And would go great with a huge farm pack like the air port :D

    Hey guys! I love your assets, but your characters skeleton made me a lot of pain in the ass (maybe just because I'm not so experienced with Unity yet). Animation from other sources doesn't retarget ok. Not always and only for hands, though. I find the way to handle it with animation curves editing... but now I stuck trying to make ragdoll from your chars. The problem is with that 30 degrees rotation of the hips bone - the collider on this bone is always rotated. And I'm not sure which way is best to fix it... And also blender can't open zombies, citizens and people models because of the old fbx format... argh...

    Thanks for the new packs. They look great!

    As for animals, my number one pick is...

    Other classics (not yet mentioned) are:

    Also I would love a "Simple Monsters" tm Pack. They can all be the basic humanoid shape that you've already created.

    Love the Airport! Jet Fighters are perfect addition to Simple Military Pack! Would love to see the Simple Racer. That will be lots of fun for sure.

    Can you tell us some more info about the FBX format? it seems odd that it can't import an older one :S

    I get 150 warnings when importing the Simple Airport pack. It seems there is one for every model.

    Here is the first one as an example.

    Thoughts?

    If you hit the clear button they should go away. What version Unity are you using so we can track down the issue?

    I want to buy simple military but I've read that the weapon animations are separate and that they do not sync up nicely, stuff like the weapons moving out of sync with the players animation instead of just assigning the weapon to a bone and just playing one animation.

    Has this been sorted out yet? It's the only thing stopping me from buying.

    First of all I want to say that I really loved your assets!, great quality and price.
    I have a simple question (might be a noob question): Is there any way I can edit or create new animations?
    (would love to see a shooting while running animation for the simple military pack).

    You can already run while shooting all guns (see the readme txt file for details)

    ATM it is just a thought, we have at least 2 other packs we want out before we consider Animals. But deer is high on the list!

    5.1.2f1.

    I was having issues with animations not playing at all on my characters so I created an empty project and import simple airport ( I had a lot of other simple packs in the other project) and even in the character demo, when I hit play, all the characters sink halfway down into the floor and enter an odd stance that is not animating at all. No matter what variables I change in the animator, I can't seem to get them to do anything.

    Thoughts?

    I got this issue resolved by going to the Animations.fbx and setting the avatar source to avatar inside SimpleCharacter.fbx. Now I'm having issues getting them walking by setting the Speef_f var. What does the Static_b parameter do on the animation controller?

    Awesome Hopefully there is some new Houses =p BTW i now officially own every Simple City Asset.
    You know what will blow my mind and probably some other fans out there. Simple SPACE. Space Station - Launcher - Couple of rockets - Ships - Suits - Rovers Etc. That must be lots of fun to design.

    I'm using Unity 5.1.2.. I just did a reformat on my mac and installed the latest version of Unity. It's strange because all the other packs work great, only the airport pack is the one having the problem.

    I had kinda fixed them on my own before the update by assigning the avatar to the animations but none of the characters would walk although I could get all the other animations to play.

    This update broke my fixes and the characters remain broke on 5.1.2f. I reverted the update via version control and am back to a semi working setup.

    I look forward to getting this pack fully working as I have already implemented pseudo real life traffic pattersn along with ILS landing glideslopes for my custom navigation engine.

    Seeing some copies is bad but trying to sell the original is just insane. You guys can prolly take legal action.

    @Shavik - Have just updates Simple Airport with what we hope will fix the issue, if you get some time, could you check it out and let us know if the issue is fixed.

    Hi, this could be a dumb question but I cant manage to move the simple military character's arms while using any weapon type. I can use perfectly well Head_vertical_f and horizontal, but for some reason Body_vertical_f (or horizontal) don't seem to work while using the animations, for example while having the assault rifle idle aiming stance (using default simple character Animator). What am I doing wrong?

    Can you give us some more information on what you are setting in the character controller, just so we can see if it something you're missing or there is a bug in the setup. thx
