    Hey everyone,

Got lots done, 2 x single and 2 x double axes
    Woodchips, 3 different shaped piles/heaps
Lots of configs of the chopping block with the different axes in them and some chopped and unchopped wood laying around.

The wood chips just really anchors down the prefabs to the terrain.

The AO map makes a BIG difference to bring the overall darkness of the props way more in line with the surrounding environment

    WHohoooo !!
Only few wells to go then I upload :)

    Without AO map

    With AO map

    Cheers

Thanks for this info @Olander. I will be trying out all your suggestions hopefully soon. My programming has improved (from non to a bit:)) but I have hit a roadblock with pathfinding and it's now becoming a block to all the fun stuff. Hope it's sorted soon as I am looking forward to getting back to the arty side of things. Actually surprised though how satisfying coding can be when it is going well.

Just wanted to say thanks as well for the free weather add on you created. I came across it the other week. Looking forward to trying it out.

    It is my pleasure.
They came out very nice, and I wanted to give a nice selection, not just 1 or 2 ;)

Do post some pics of you using the assets :)

If you don't see me for a while then you'll know that I'm probably lost trying to either a) find my way around or b) find my way out

    Hey everyone,

I have updated the first post specifically the Road Map, concerning what has been completed and what is being worked on next in the Road Map.

I am also starting on completely new projects at the same time and will reveal information once I have some stuff to show and discuss keeping a balance between FREE Updates and new work that generate new income ;):)

    Thanks for everyone's support.
Please do STAR rate and review any packs from 3DForge that you do own

Started work on a larger inn than the previous one, and also decided to add in my own stone texture rather than the two options that come with the kit (so now have 3 to choose from :D )

    screenshot214.jpg

Just trying out some of the new stuff from the latest update (horses aren't included) to see how things can mesh together before I delve into sorting out the interior :)

    screenshot215.jpg

Well, well, well.... looks like there's been a bit of a drinking party going off at one point :)

    " DID YOU KNOW ? " in Update v1.2.1

All wagons have been exported with components separated and for your convenience I have pre-assembled them all as prefabs with the pivot points in the correct places to have the parts hinge physically correct.

So with code, you can make them operate as proper wagons.

    Enjoy

Interior work started, and thanks to the design, everything from the interior's kit fits in perfectly with the exterior kit :D

    screenshot220.jpg

    screenshot221.jpg

Okay... so the fireplaces technically aren't designed to fit on a 45 degree angle... :D lol

If you take a closer look near the fire though, you should notice that the pile of logs there are from the latest exterior kit update :)

    Thanks,

They were a very happy accident.
I grabbed some existing 3dMesh and textures and wanted to see what I can come up with.

Later I will add the buckets and ropes and all the other cool stuff that goes with that

***ps There is a thatch roof version in the update as well :)

    Cheers

Received these nice pictures from @turboscalpeur
They have such a nice mood and almost vintage look & feel
Gaia was used, with some Speedtrees and grasses and flowers from his own packages

    Thanks for these :):):)

    Hi everyone,

For those looking for some helpful texture map software that are FREE, head over to NMaker Website & NMaker Facebook
He has released them for FREE with donation buttons if you want to say thanks in that way

They are extensions that run right in Photoshop

Agree $10 -> 10.72 euros is a good price for the quality and amounts. Just have to watch the pennies at bit more lately.

While you recommend the first pack I may get that one first.

This is a good link Cobus. Thanks for pointing it out.

Edit: Noticed photoshop is a requirement. Looks decent though for those with photoshop.

    Hey @smada luap
This excellent work, Exactly how I thought the Interiors & Exteriors contents should be used together
It looks like this level is almost complete :)

You very subtle lighting really helps to make the scenes come alive with careful placement you have some very nice casting of shadows making the scenes very interesting.

Thanks for coming to show these top notch examples ;):)

That is a very good comparison and something to be noted with ALL 3DForge assets
They are great both 3rd per / FPS as well as Classing Top Down
You buy and pay once and use now for a 3rd person game and maybe your next title is a Top Down title, then all good to go out the box
You could even have a mix, where you flip between the two in your game.
So maybe Top Down and when conversations or battles go to 3rd person or FPS or the other way around

    Re-usability for the win :);)

    Cheers

    Awesome assets you make :)

I am working on a project where I am building an old brewery / inn and was wondering if you have done big brewing vats and tubes in one of your packages?

Here are some pictures of what I mean:
