That looks really great. If you can, post a couple of GIFs of the gameplay.

Right now there isnt really much gameplay... All you can really do is walk and jump around, and the player is still just a square.

Stylistically the direction you are going is very nice.
Are you going for a minimalist beauty - or is this all you have done so far?

I think minimalism is a style which can be nice and appealing if done right - but you can't argue with the beauty found in Ori and The Blind Forest. That game is beautiful.

Name - how bout Beauty? But then you have to live up to the name. :)
Nice work. If you are not going for minimalist I think there is a lot of work still to do. Will watch for your next update.

Looks good so far. My advice is make sure your controls and mechanics are solid before working on the visuals. If you make a block that looks beautiful but the player can't climb up properly, it will take the player out of the experience you want.

    Keep up the good work!

Yes im going for minimalist beauty, but I will still add little details all around so it looks really polished, especilly in the particles.

And yes I cant argue with the visuals of Ori, but here im not really going for detail, instead im tryng to create the beauty using color, light etc...

Yes I know I shoudov done all this before, but its kinda complicated because I dont really know what my player character is yet, so its kinda hard to design the gameplay.

It all has to work well together, character - environment, character-gameplay, gameplay - environment.

Are these 3D models or just 2D sprites.?
I think you should leave the naming for later. Sometimes the name can be like a cage and will only force you to make sure the game relates to its name, but that's only my opinion.

Its just 2d sprites, but I use light and other special effects to make it look like that.

    This is the original sprite:

    With light and everything.

No, I'm pretty sure a webpage isn't required.

Love the look, and the camera movement made wandering through the level feel...serene I think is the word I am looking for. I like the particle 'dust' when the character walks, fits perfectly I think (although would like to see the same effect when you land from a jump). Very nice, relaxing and enjoyable to play - I will keep an eye on this one

    Thanks for the nice reply!
I did a lot of work on the camera zooming/movement to make it look smooth and not annoying or strange.
Im working on it right now :)

This is true. If you've ever seen the game Gunpoint, the developer had come up with a name really early on, and even in his Steam achievements makes fun of it. But Occasionally, naming a game early on won't kill it, but only if the name is either gibberish, or doesn't define game-play or story-line. Like my current project, Vaultum.
