Did this awhile ago, for both. It would be a great learning tool for users, and should do well financially for either company hosting it - vtc or lynda.com

Thanks for the kind words, Robert.
    Here's the whole story:
Even BEFORE we did work for the Virtual Training Company (VTC) we sent previews of our YouTube channel to Lynda.com with the request to make series for them.
They never replied, not even with a short message, but DID put my email on their newsletter list... kind of rude if you ask me.

Next we contacted VTC.com and they were on-it from the start. Great guys!

So that's the whole deal when it comes to video training other than our YouTube channel.

    Cheers,

    Efraim (TornadoTwins)

    Hey everyone!

We've been getting an awful lot of requests on this front as well, and we've got what we think is a pretty solid selection of upcoming video training headed your way very soon. We're almost finished with it, and there are some details about the release schedule that are yet to be finalized. I will say that we're doing our best to come up with a way that we can release ALL of what you see here for FREE. We're actually in talks with Unity regarding this, and as soon as we hear something back from them, we'll let you know!

Just so you know, this list is NOT complete just yet. We've recorded a lot more videos that we've not yet processed/encoded/etc. that are not listed, such as a section on particle effects, videos over rigid bodies, trails, among others. We're currently looking at about 57 hours of total completed video training, and as you can see, the larger portion of it is divided into many bite-sized chunks!

And this is just a portion of some of the projects we've got planned over Unity. Feel free to pop over and check them out!

Yeah, that list is the result of months and months of planning and production. Unity projects have really been the primary development venue for 3D Buzz throughout 2010, and it's great to finally see all of these lesson plans and so very many hours of production starting to come to fruition. Exciting times! :D

Any chance for tutorials with JavaScript? I guess you create tutorials only with C# as programming language.

o/ Zak, I dunno if you remember me or not, but I sat next to you over at the Ren Center for that 3ds max boot camp course.

It's nice to see you guys are putting a lot of focus into Unity, I sent Busby a PM about 2 or 3 years ago when I first found Unity trying to get him to start making vids for it. He probably never read it, but regardless, it's nice to see you guys covering this as it's a fun little game engine.

Only thing you need to do now is ditch Maya and use Modo. :p

btw.. site has come a long way, from when you guys used to burn all those mountains of CD's to mail out.

Uhh, looks like he ditched Maya for Blender some time ago, and I believe that might be better than Maya OR Modo at this point (probably because of both price, as well as how much easier Blender has become to use over the course of the current 2.59 build).
