The textures perhaps need to be darkened or you need to apply a filter to level the colours.

Nice work guys! I hope to see an early access soon?
And don't lower the colours, we don't need another blend/gritty game.

no fancy shaders used ;) it's all unity's build-in shaders except for terrain (rtp3.0 <- mostly for performance reason) and foliage (afs)

    Thank you! ;)

    Thank you so much!

Early Access / Pre-Alpha / Steam Greenlight will be available as soon we have our first trailer ready to show. We will announce it on Twitter, Facebook, IndieDB, Unity Thread and on our website www.beastsofprey.com

    Thanks!

I diagree. Depth of field looks terrible, especially in a game like this. But bloom is nice! But do not overdo post processing. Your game will quickly become a mess.

why? depth of field is the greatest post-process effect humankind has created!

Depth of field is more for cameras and cutscenes. This is an outdoor game mainly. So having it there, or at least a lot of it, would ruin it. Real life doesn't blur things for you does it? Might need glasses. :p

    Thanks!

We are really careful with post processing and complex shaders. The game should run even on lower-end machines just fine. If you have a higher end machine, you will probably profit from some additional post-effects like sunshafts, ssao and higher shadow distance.

Game performance is a very high-priority topic while working on Beasts of Prey.

I'm somewhat interested with this project. Kinda reminds me of a multiplayer first-person Jurassic Park game.

Admittedly, being a dinosaur enthusiast, I can't say I'm really a fan of the dinosaur models themselves, but that's primarily me.

Nonetheless, I'll be keeping an eye out.
