A quick question about the Kii SDK.

Does it all sit on the editor side, i.e. a DLL and/or scripts, or is there some platform specific integration at build time?

    Hi.

It all sits on the dlls. Those libraries are compiled C# code that connects to our cloud API entry points in the background.
If you don't mind, why are you asking? Are you having issues at build time?

    Best

No, I've not even got the SDK, was just thinking ahead. Just wanted to find out if there was a chance of conflicts with other third-party plugins at build time, e.g. the Prime31 plugins.

Bad!!.. You shouldn't be "partnering" with anyone. Unity should always remain unbiased.. I just lost a ton of respect.
btw.. How much did Kii pay for this "great partnership"?

Dude, what are you on about? Great partnerships allow companies to accelerate growth, and move beyond what their resources alone can offer. Look at Unity's partnership with Allegorithmic, for example.

SO the other companies that are offering what Kii does... Are they just crap soup now or what? My point is still valid. and my question should be answered. This "partnership" is financially motivated? I see no benefit to Allegorithmic. Once again, by these special partnership, unity basically is saying that anyone else the offers the same type services is crap. Its not right. they should remained unbiased

Personally I am looking for their functionality.

    Avatar Systems
    Buddy system
Facebook and other social media integration.
    Easy push notifications

Is all this in place? Are there Unity tutorials on these that I can look at?

They should fair play with other developers.

Does this mean that backend service from Kii will be free for unity pro subscribers or maybe all unity developers¿?
