Hi there, I am probesys, the programmer behind the Spline Trail Renderer plugin available through the Asset Store. If you have any questions, comments, improvement ideas, etc, just write them here and I will answer them as soon as I can!

You must (seriously) inprove your communication.Do not thank me. My pleasure. ;)

    Spline Trail Renderer

On the Asset Store for 10$. (Web site).

A simple to use component for Unity that lets you have truly smooth trails combined with advanced parameters not available with default trail or line renderer. Very useful to draw a path for the player to follow, or simply drawing on the screen.

Can I create an editable spline path and then set a parameter that strokes a trail over that path?

You can edit the trail control points by code (add/remove/move), and the trail will adapt it's rendering dynamically.
