    hi, now i make a test for a city in unity. here now the picture and walk clip. comments welcome.

    the street is one texture and every build has one texture.

    Wow! The quality can be easily compared with city scenes in triple A titles. It always amazes me how some specific choosen details can bring a scene to life.

    I started beginning about mid-May with simple properties objects to. and July with the streets and buildings. but I do not work every day at the scene. as the beginning of august it was much too hot for computer sit. or I have to do other stuff ;)

    use base unity shader .

    i think i bring the 4 buildings next day in assetstore and make any buildings updates from time to time in the first paket. think i splitt little to theme. what do think is a realy price ?

    Show the buildings in the editor with wireframes and then we can better decide.

    shader on selectet building and teh other buildings is reflection bumped spec shader

    really nice – but your skybox has seams…
    simply fix this by editing the import settings of the textures and set them to "clamp".

    testing the mixamo rigger. and any small news and new near walk on last building

    It looks good, but I can't help but think the ladder type you've chosen looks a bit out of place. We usually see something like that on the side of a pool, if its attached to the building, it would look more like a fire escape.

    That said, the pulley hoist you have there is actually pretty common with older buildings. At my job, I've been looking at a lot of old theaters overdue for renovation, and that setup is pretty common with them as they were built before motorized lifts became commonplace.

    shello found little time and start with a metro entrance. in the map. the escalaotr hav a 10 frame animation for up and down. show in next update when entrance is done.

    little more about ground textures. make 1maps for ground and 1 for sand. actual i use a simple object for the sandy ground. later want test with decal system
    whta thinking about ground texture? actuel looks 1024 maps

    Some unrelated German:
    Litfaßsäule und diese roten Kaugummi automaten . Giebs die überhaupt noch irgendwo :p

    liftfass gibts tatsächlich noch vereinzelnd (sogar eine 50m entfernt von mir entfernt ).
    kaugummi automaten leider immer weniger ;( aber ich wollte ein wenig den 80er zeitraum nach empfinden vom look
