Cinimod Studio are looking for an experienced Unity 3D (C#) developer to help create the next version of an ambitious immersive interactive artwork called the “interactive aquarium”.
This is a project that has thus far been produced at various scales, with interaction input coming from a series of thermal cameras, laser rangefinders, and Kinect cameras.

You must be able to create advanced shaders for Unity, preferably in ShaderLab/HLSL - being aware of problems like alpha sorting and know workarounds for them.
Proficiency in general animation and total confidence with the Unity 3D 4 animation system (editing and scripting) are required as well as proven previous experience and completed projects. We also require experience with multithreaded applications.
You will be part of an existing team, and you will be tasked to help evolve the existing aquarium version to an even more beautifully interactive and ambitious level.
Big pluses are: knowledge of compute shaders, confidence with one of the 3D authoring softwares, like Blender, that are compatible with Unity 3D
The job needs to be onsite at our West London (W10 5JJ) studio.
The position is initially for 1 or 2 months, but could lead to a permanent employment if all is a good fit.
