[EDIT] Now that we have completed the upgrade, if there is anything funky happening, let us know in this thread so that I may relive my QA days and create bugs

Yes, I did say upgrade, now it's nothing fancy, we've been running on a dinosaur version of our forum software for ages and we need to change it. There are a few new features and fixes for some issues I've had complaints about, but it's mainly cosmetic with a sprinkle of other background stuff for the web dev guys. Even though we have tested it there may be some "features" that may need reporting (by that I mean bugs), if you do find something wrong PM me with a clear description, reproductions steps and screenshot.

hmmmmm... now the <textarea> to reply is small and i cant resize it horizontally , only vertical... thats odd

 

Wow, that's messed up and REALLY awkward.

 

The horizontal default size is a bit small, but i don't see any real problem with not being able to scale it vertically.
Whats most annoying is that the font have changed : p

 

The front page was all messed up for me. The icons had gone wild and most of the forum names were on the right side of the page. lol

This small box is annoying, too. Weird that you can't stretch it horizontally. But since you can stretch it vertically, I guess it's okay for now.

 

Refresh the browser will fix your frontpage (i hope )

My feedback : I don't think I like the new look for the post forum window, but who cares

Try clearing the cache and reload.

 

Not only can you not post Youtube videos, any post that had nicely embedded youtube videos now just has links. Fingers crossed you find the problem

Ok, fingers crossed, a fix should be coming tomorrow for the missing video posting. We're sorry it seemed to have got lost in the upgrade process, we'll get it back to normal as soon as we can.

 

Yup, that's what it looked like! lol

I cleared my cache for something else while I was off the forum, and now it looks good, so I'm going to assume it was a cache problem indeed.

Yeah, that's what mine looked like; I just hit refresh and that fixed it. The serif font in the reply box is just weird though, since it posts as sans-serif.

Yeah I had the same problem.

 

The reply box has gone nuts! Sometimes it's perfect, others it's whack! And, heaven forbid you try to 'Edit' one of your posts... It becomes a mission from Psychonauts!

Well, it seems the upgrade of destiny has destined our forum to be a buggy mess. That's OK, I'm sure you guys will fix it all soon Seriously though, typing in one font, and then seeing your post being displayed in another font is just weird.

Is there an auto-save function in the reply box though? I could swear I saw a little box pop up that said "autosaved". If there is, that's awesome, I've lost track of the amount of times I've accidentally lost long posts for lack of such a feature.

 

Yes, there's a button at the bottom that says "restore auto-saved content", if there was an auto-save.

Aurore, seems that all the videos in the forum died (at least they are displayed as links).

I guess somebody should turn ON the switch.

 

Pretty cool stuff. I was hoping to see posting on collaboration *tear tear* lol.

 

Also seems that links are not underlined and decorated with any different color.
