You know the cheesy badly dubbed voice and sound effects that were featured in every kung fu movie

There is only 2 material art games out since 20 years I like, Sega Virtua Figher (the best ever made in 3d) and Panza Kickboxing. I really really really really hope that you will give me the 3rd one I like.

Material art games were never again that popular than in the 80's I think. Funny because everyone is fighting with everyone in the streets today...

Gotta be a bit careful if you're using Bruce Lee's likeness and it's something that becomes very financially profitable.

    Not bad, but

-30,000 Motion captured and hand made Animations

    -100 moves per character

    -30 Unique Characters

30k Animations? but only 3k used?

I love the concept but I'm weary of the execution here. The assets are 100% mocap animation and look rather floaty and slow, and the character models look very odd, the backgrounds look prerendered too.

I highly recommended polishing a playable prototype with 2 characters to show off the actual combat system and flow of gameplay rather than using "bullet point" features and (mostly)frozen stills on a list. It takes A LOT of work to get a responsive and smooth fighting game.

Personally I think you've jumped the gun on kickstarter here, the presentation needs some work to make me believe you can actually execute this idea well.

Not trying to bash just honest critcism. Good luck!

I appreciate the comment the backgrounds are definitely not prerendered I am full aware of the amount of work it takes to create a decent fighting game
