Slender: The Nine Pages begins with the player in a basement. The player is equipped with a flashlight and He is able to run for a short period of time before running out of breath. The objective of the game is to find nine pages and then escape from there.

This is my first game. Please comment!

Can you post some screenshots or a video, so that we know what we will be downloading?

Also, are you making this as an educational experience or do you have the goal of releasing this commercially?

I'm doing this as an educational experience. I'm learning Unity and C#. I will add screenshots in a couple of minutes.

I don't mind Slender, but some people think that it's too overused. He said it was for a learning project, before you even come on here saying slenderman is overused, he was doing it for a project, leave him alone.

Great game, it was fun, almost made me poop my pants.

    Great work!

I think you did a great job of setting an atmosphere, as soon as I started playing, I felt straight into the game. The main menu music... I love it :D
It may not suit entirely for the theme of the game, but I just love it anyway. As for constructive criticisms, there is a couple of things you could work on.

The mouse sensitivity. I'm glad you put the option in the menu to change the sensitivity, but I don't think it should be all the way down by default. I entered the game with an extremely slow turning speed, before realizing I could amp it up in the settings. This was my only real major issue.
Add more scenery stuff I guess, and maybe slightly lower the ambient world light.

    Other than that... good job!

But still there is bug with resolution, but it don't mind in gameplay :)

Player movement speed is really too slow. In some corners on the floor are lightsources, don't know why. When you move up and down light on the floor the corners get lighten.

    Its a great start : )
    Two suggestions:
Menu music is a bit off, need to be more scary so the mood is correctly set before even starting the game.
Some props would be nice, the rooms are a bit empty now.

I don't like Slender games. Not because I'm tired of them, but because my heart can't take it. I like to see what content updates are like, new content, revised content, models, textures, etc. I love all that, I hate being scared. I'm a wuss. I'm a cat. I'm a scaredy cat. Plus I have a heart condition. I just can't handle games like Slender. Darned brain, and it's chemicals.

I do wish you luck though. I just won't be playing it because I get genuinely scared by games like these. Makes me wonder, if I live long enough, what horror games will be like in 50 years with virtual reality headsets becoming a reality. Maybe one day someone like me will have a fatal reaction to Slender Man creeping up on them in the year 2025, and I'll be sitting on the sidelines thinking "I'm next!"

Faithful to the original, good sound design. I like how the mouse-look feels, how is it smoothed out?

To improve the game you'd have to break its tie's to the inspiration. Horror works by the unknown, and by already knowing the game rules some of the fear is lost.

    It's smoothed only by Mathf.SmoothDamp. Smooth time = 0.1
