I'm looking for text based tutorials

Hi everyone,
I still remember that in the past people always wanted video tutorials, but most of the time we had to content ourselves with texts instead.
Now, I'm in the disposition that I'm now looking for text tutorials. The thing is, I want to create a video tutorial (gee ) showing how to translate hard code into an FSM via the plugin "PlayMaker". I'd look like a hypocryte (how do you write that word ?) if I wrote the scripts myself and showing stuff on another video tutorial would be difficult, especially since most of them don't have scene files.

So my question is, do you know a good text tutorial for starters/intermediates or a video tutorial which has free scene files after each part?
