Chain link fence made in blender:

I'm still not good at modeling but I learned a lot making this. Probably way to many polys to use in a game though! :)

Your model (as can be seen in earlier shots posted) looks very similar to GLADOS from portal series (valve). Did this character inspired you by chance?
It approx. 80 percent look alike, that why i ask.

Yeah, it was after playing through Portal and then Portal 2 back to back that I threw down some sketches and that's what I got.

Thinking about doing a scifi based prop set. Just moved to blender and this is one of the test objects I made in an hour or so last night. Thoughts?

I also have the outside animated where it slowly spins I may post it later.

I didn't use the tutorial to model this but I saw that one long time ago and it is one of the best tutorials for subd modelling I think that it was on cgtuts and it was for 3dsmax.

I always like them, but I always get terribly low frame rates.

could be because i never optimized the scenes, no batching etc. it is just slapping together and building it.

    thanks for liking it

Well, I think I'm done with the art side of the Tunnel level:
    Old:

    New:

Not SUPER happy with it but it'll do, been at it for two days. Had a hard time try to make the stretchy parts between the ground and eggs. Ended up with something that looks ok...

I'm taking the rest of the night off. Tomorrow gonna start building the level.

Wow not just that sculpt is great marcos, but i really like the message of sculpture itself. Do you have 3d printer at home, if so can you tell which model?

You know, what I like the most about this is the lighting *concept*. The lighting suggests the mechanism is coming menacingly out of the shadows.

Working on an assault vehicle for my game:

Wheels are done, but the chassis is really only roughed in (actually looks okay in game, but when I'd finished the wheels, which I'm quite happy with, the rest of the chassis looked crappy- will rebuild out of more discrete parts)

The turret is from existing in game parts (probably should have its own, smaller turret)

Game im working on. Its an online game where you train and control 4 characters of your choosing against someone else's characters for dominance in an arena setting. It follows the turn based nature of Final Fantasy games but with many improvements and interesting gameplay tweaks to make turn-based much more intense and strategic.

Splash screen for two of the characters, as a little teaser. The splash screen (similar to league of legends) is where youll buy the characters, their skins, check out their lore, abilities, etc

A WIP sculpt for my game: it will eventually be a statue which dispenses cubes:

I'm finding sculpting the cloth to be quite tricky - this is only the second full model I've made in scuptris. Any tips?

Finished the retopo of the assault buggy, and painted the front section...about 500 polys, including wheels.

    Thanks for the tutorial link!

Will add some shots of a character I'm working on when I get home from work.

EDIT: I am nothing, if not a man of my word. Attached is a hottie who wields a broken sword with a reverse grip, named Thora. I need to fix some texture errors, hand-paint details, and finish her darn sword.

Yes, there are both League of Legends and Final Fantasy VII ties to this one.

I'm calling this done(I know,I know...it's not finished),especially the textures. But because I've made some mistakes while unwrapping/baking the normal map and some other stuff.....and it turned out HORRIBLY.

At least I learned something new...I'm not going to make the same mistakes twice :D

    And a closer look:

Are Thunderent and Janpec the same people?

They both produce amazing quality of work and all the renderings look like they use the same lighting/shader setup.

Both of you are fantastic artists. Keep it up :)
