    Hi everyone!

I have reached the point where my game is actually playable, so i thought i would share a video with you guys!

And here is a cool screenshot:

Feel free to ask any questions. I will release a playable demo soon, stay in touch!

I am looking for advices, once the game is finished, would you recommend me any specific platform to distribute it? I only know about desura and steam.

Looking Good. Looks like you have put allot of effort into it. I'd recommend that you start small platform wise, don't go to the big leads such as steam and get knocked down because they won't put your game on their store. You should start small and what I think you should do Is try and get the beta on the android or apple market, it would be good to have a full RPG game on the market. Anyways thats just my opinion, keep up the good work, it will be interesting to see the finished product.

Looking nice. I might suggest a web-player so people can try it out.

    That's terrible and unhelpful advice...

    1. Dont aim small unless you have to. If steam doesn't take it, go for the alternatives. Steam and Desura are the bigger players, but there are other options as well. Things like humble bundle. A quick google will find alternatives.

    2. This is obviously not intended to be a mobile game, so why even suggest it.

Hey there thanks for your feedbacks!

    Here are the new features:

    - A new Catapult, you can use it on yourself of course.
    - A cool "Ship-Copter" pretty hard to pilot though.
    - All the metalic textures have been change with the Specular Shader, (damn it's effective!)

Looks very good, I hope my full project im working on on now gets to this point, and even past it (hoping) but man this looks great.

I have one tip though, you should offset the character to the left of your reticle, I've played games were you can switch between the left and the right, and it is much more comfortable with the player on the left and the reticle on the right. Or just make it so that you can change it in the settings (which would be even better for those lefties).

    Thanks everyone for your support!

I need to complete the Quest system and to improve the enemies IA. When this is done, i will put together a first demo of the game (probably in a month or so).

Have you made everything in it? Looks realy good and nice effort. If you have made everything realy nice job. Looks like it would be super fun to make it just a single player open world for an iphone or even windows. And how did you get the fire ball effect? As in there's a large fire ball at one end with a particle trail.

I made everything myself indeed, you can find some of my models in the asset store by the way. For the projectile, it is like you said: i used a fireball model at the end and a particle system.

    Hi!

I just wanted to share with you a few screenshot, and news!

    - The Objectives are available, this means the actual game is finally playable in the way it was expected!
    - Tons of zones and monsters have been added.
    - Npcs are linked to many objectives, and you will are now able to interact with them to discover the mechanics of the game, and the main story.

By the way, steam is going to enable a new way of selecting indie games with users voting, i think thats amazing for us!

I would make the torch/lamp not take you into consideration for the shadows, it makes the shadows look real bad. Other than that, its really progressing awesomely, the graphics are really shaping up and looking real nice.

Thank you for your support guys! Developing an rpg really is a very long and difficult task, expectially now, since i spend most of my time adding content, a very repetitive task...

You are absolutely right, I removed the shadows for the torches:

Game looks great but I feel its is probably on hold. If you look at his youtube channel there are a whole lot of unfinished games. =P That is the Indie way.

    This is coming along awesomely!
Only thing I would recommend is that you review the scale of everything. For example in the screenshot in your last post, the torches are much too big and the hallway is much too small in comparison to the character. Real life scale is very important when making an RPG. Things always just feel a little unrealistic and weird when they aren't scaled correctly. I always imagine, if I was the character and in the same scene, how big would the scenery and objects around me be?
Keep it up :) Looking awesome.
