Webcam in Unity Flash?

I've been testing a little with the Unity Flash export and wanted to use the new Webcam Texture From Unity 3.5 but it doesn't seem to be included with the Flash exporter.

I've heard that you can pipe the webcam output through another Flash player but that strikes me as a pretty complicated way to do this and it's supposed to be fairly slow.

Isn't there any other way? I wouldn't have thought that Webcam access was so difficult as Flash does this by itself already.

 

A few people have asked about implementing a webcam in Flash. Here is an example project which demonstrates how the Flash webcam can be rendered on to a plane for Unity Flash export. It's built based on the earlier "Load Texture from web" example:
