Hey guys, had a blast participating in the Ludum Dare 48hr game competition last weekend... this was my first time and I highly recommend it if you're up to it (it's pretty intense)!

Here is my timelapse (kinda fun to watch):

    Here is the entry:

    Playable web version:

I've been taking suggestions on how to improve the gameplay, so a future (iOS) version is in the works. Overall I'm am very proud of my submission (pretty much my first "complete" game ever).

wow o_O - this is fantastic!

Thank you for recording and sharing. It's very interesting to see how you did this game :) And the gameplay-idea is genious, too :)

I've got one question to you: Did you painted the pictures like the man with the frog with a mouse or did you used a pencil tablet (is it called like that?) ?

    Really inspirational.

I keep telling myself I need to enter these kind of competitions to actually complete a few games, but then with my OCD and being a perfectionist I spend 48 hours tweaking a light and still make a note to tweak it more later on and get nowhere. :p

Love watching people who can do all facets of game creation. Music and sound are things I haven't even dared look at.

Thanks for the feedback! It really is motivating and makes me want to do more of this kind of stuff.

@Tayfe and MrDuskling - I use a Wacom graphics tablet... I love the thing. You don't have to shell out for a Wacom though, I've heard stellar reviews of the tablets from monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10841) at a fraction of the cost.

@Birdbrain - I used an opensource program called Cronolapse (http://code.google.com/p/chronolapse/) - it takes interval screenshots and then allows you to encode them to video. Very handy.

    Love the art!

Did you use any 3rd party plugins for unity for handling the sprites?
