    Posting my entry for Mixamo's Competition. Still exploring shapes, but I've recently finished ME3, definitely very influenced by the game :razz:

    Comments and critiques are very welcome.

    Couldn't tell why the armor seemed familiar, now I know ^^

    Hi guys, been very busy with work and got minimal time. I will try my best to reply everyone and thanks for the support!

    Just posting to show my current progress. Almost done with highpoly! Comments and critiques are very much welcome!

    @tictox: Hopefully the textured version can be finish in time.

    @yavadoo: As janpec said, its still in high poly stage. I am targeting 20k tris for the final mesh.

    @khan-amil: Yes, I am a big fan of Mass Effect's design.

    Highpoly is done, time to retopo, UV, bake, texture, pose, render and comp! So much to do!

    Great news, the Contest has been extended based on contestants requesting more time. We've agreed to end the contest by one week.

    The new END DATE is MAY 4th @ 11:59PM PST

    If you have already submitted feel free to refine the entry and resubmit! Otherwise, we'll see you at the end of the contest!

    Cool stuff, but I do wish the final model was leaner, like the original concept. The current model looks more like a powerhouse / heavy guard versus the original concept looked more athletic, like the character in Vanquish.

    Really like the texturing work , great style. I prefer the unlit version over the final render , not because I dislike it but because I like the look ... high quality comic style.

    twitchfactor - Yeah sadly as I progressed along, I kinda lost the agile look, but I stick with this look as I thought it suited the model. Thanks !

    Woah! Necro thread!

    It's not rendered in Unity. I rendered it with Marmoset Toolbag. There's Marmoset Skyshop for Unity now, you could perhaps try using that.
