    Hi everyone,

It's been some time since the last update but we have now made our updated plugin available for testing which includes a lot of bug fixes.

    Here's the download link:

    http://beta.unity3d.com/download/810944335946/beta-webplayer.html

I encourage everyone to have some fun playing some of the awesome content created in Unity for the Web with this plugin. If your unsure as to where to look for Unity web games check out our game list here:

    http://unity3d.com/gallery/made-with-unity/game-list

You know the score, if you find any bugs please report them using Unity's built in bug reporting tool (Help -> Report a bug). You can also email us the case number directly via webplayer@unity3d.com.

    Rock on!!

    Chris :)

There used to be a right button menu, just tried my Cancer Wars on Kongregate, where I setup the right mouse button as Thrust and it works without poping up a menu?

Seems Faster to Start and fast based on the games FPS, the game is a bit of a hog as it was just me throwing stuff at the engine, before I found the profiler and started getting feedback on performance from lower spec PC players.

    Hello,
for me the performance is still disappointing. 50% slower than exports in a 3.42 and a reading with webplayer 3.42???
Is there still an issue with projectors?
Is there a bug with the prefab "Nighttime Water v.3.42"?

    thank you

    Hi _rem,

Can you please report a bug on this? Please provide me with a simple example build from 3.4.2 so I can compare performance? I will also need hardware details, OS, CPU GPU RAM etc

Please also file an additional bug for the Nighttime water prefab issue.

DM me the two case id's

    Thanks,
    Chris

Just a question.. if Chrome now has native Unity web player support built in, how does Chrome actually get updated with updated web players?

    Hi Meltdown,

I think you are a little bit confused :)
Unity3D support NaCl (Native client) publishing this means that now unity3d contents can run inside chrome as "browser application".

If I am not wrong NaCl application can't run inside an html page, if you want this you must use the normal unity3d webplayer.

Yes I think I am confused!
I thought I read the Unity web player was now built into Chrome as a plugin.

But I read now more on NaCl and it makes sense.

    Thanks

Once again purely by chance I've stumbled across this public beta test... why, why, why no email round to user to tell everyone about it?

I think they've changed their mailing list to be Pro Licenses only. I stopped getting newsletters a few weeks before the free giveaway of iOS and Android Basic licenses.
