Looking for members who want to start a new gaming project using the Unity Engine. I will be the story/script writer and a concept artist.
Project Steam
This game will be a 1 player Sci-Fi Action Shooter focusing on a female character and how she deals with the struggles of being a captive in an alien spaceship. This will be completely story driven so a story is required for this title, which I'm taking myself to that point of becoming a better script writer in story development plot. This will be my first project for experience, before I try to go on further with any of my previous made game ideas. If you want experience in a friendly development environment, please join.
I am hoping to find people who want to join the team for years to come on projects. We each will become project leaders on each gaming project as we will alternate and work on each other game ideas by vote, but only after this idea is made. I also plan to expand this team in future plans as well as our company can further expand in the gaming industry in over many country's.
Company name for now shall be - Acoustic.Art.Studios or Acoustic.Art.Games
Looking for passionate people of any given experience, even if your a hobbyist who want to become a full time employee, please join.
Until then I'll be working on some character and creature designs and the story.
We will contact via Skype, which you can hit me up by adding DeBraveMan.
Or email me at www.demasterz@yahoo.com
Thankyou for reading!

Suggestion for ya'.
Unless you legitimately registered a company with the federal government, please do not label your team as a company.
Oh, and what are some features of the game? What kinds of weapons are there? Does the game take place on a space ship the entire time? What are the enemies? How does the health system function? Are there any vehicles? RPG elements? Cover system? U.I. elements? Meh?

same as what she said =) would love to know more
ill help am a good story writer for this game i can make good guns and help u when ever u need itso am up for this team
here is a intro for ur story if u like it ok
1 girl named sophia travels on a family trip to go to the moon hotel then durring there journey...KABOOM...silence was the only thing sophia was hearing then she fell to sleep 2 hours later she wakes up in a room she gets up and starts walking havin flash backs of what happen the last 2 hours then when she saw it she fell thinking about her family GRRRR she look up and the alien gonna kill her then she kicks it and starts runnin then ...she found she wasnt on the same ship she was on ...DADADA too be contunued
Don't take any of this the wrong way, but before you get flamed to much.
1) Words like company/employee are monetary relationships.
2) Naming the "company" should really be lower on the priority list.
3) Story teller?
I am supposed to be a programmer (which I am very good at)... I have also had to learn how to use blender to create models, rigging and animation... cakewalk and various recording equipment... and about a dozen utility applications... In a small group you need to learn to do many things. I would suggest picking two specific aspects of game development and start learning them (like scripting and animation, or sound and texturing)... simply story teller is not enough.
4) By vote? years to come? after we make this project?
There are many online resources that define how the creative process of turning ideas into a game work. There is a lot of planning, even more give and take. You really need to understand what you are getting into and what other members of your future team are going to expect from you.
DeBraveMan careful what you say to him. He has been bugging me all day because I decided to talk to him. From my support ticket system on my website to pm's to posting on my topic. Just FYI. And best of luck to your project =]here is a intro for ur story if u like it ok

Oh hey look! It's the gender bending fake porn actress from Florida that we had on the forums a few months back... Haven't seen you in a long time. Any time you want to get trolled, let me know! "crystallinaprimacy"
@DeBraveMan: You do seem to be involved in a lot of large-scale RPG projects from your various posts on a number of forums. How is your progress?

To the Original Poster: Finding collaborators is a great thing. Using Unity is a great thing. Using Unity with a group of friends is best. To attract a strong core group of people here, it's best to post your current work and attract help by showing people your talent. Often posting your work in Showcase or in Works in Progress is a great way to build a reputation before you begin looking for a team.
To all the other posters: Please, if you find a thread that you think isn't deserving of life on this forum, leave it alone. Don't post. Let it die of it's own accord. Posting and reposting only keeps this thread and others like it alive in some awful undead state. I don't like staking undead threads that can't survive without the energy and input of the living posters. These threads won't eat your brains. They will suck your time and energy, however. Let them wither and die without your input.

This is a beginners project to say first for those who are looking to join a team, but are not getting the claritty that they want. Pretty much those who are looking forward for a learning experience or a friendly well define team. As for features, nothing specific as for just making a single player sci-fi shooter. As for weapons, a bit of both modern and alien weaponry. It first starts off in a city, but most of the gameplay will take place on a massive spacecraft, so yes. Enemies are aliens of course, and your the human captive who tries to break free and get off the horrid spaceship which you and many others are being used as lab experiments and the such...THE HORROR. The health system is a blood splash on the screen, unlike modern shooter games it will show a red health meter similar to a rainbow...call it the Rainbow Blood Health System if you want. As for vehicles their's 2 which one is a mini hover craft and the other is a special weapon which I call D.A.O.L.L.T or D.O.L.L.T which I will explain to those who are members why the A is left out. RPG elements, no. Cover system, yes of course! U.I elements includes Map of your area within the spacecraft and a whole view of tha spaecraft, also we have menu settings and such, probably not a character avatar though as in a shooter game it may deem unecessary. Meh? Yes you, we want you to join.Suggestion for ya'.

Another writer is good, just 1 won't do.ill help am a good story writer for this game i can make good guns and help u when ever u need itso am up for this team
Yes by vote, or any other method that works, but for now a vote. Years to come, yes! You don't want a new development team to die do yuh? After we make this project, yes. Only reason I say this because I want both people of inexperience and experience to work on the project together. Learn from each other and grow with each other. As for the last part I sure do know! I just want to give the inexperience a chance to learn how the development process works. Who knows, they might turn out to be better than what we make of them.Don't take any of this the wrong way, but before you get flamed to much.

Yes indeed! Matter of fact it is going well! I'm working with another development team who is currently helping to bring about this project. Sadly the project development cycle may take about 3 more years before the project is done. As that project is underway, I thought I might start another development team in expanding the video game business. That's my goal right now. Thanks for asking!@DeBraveMan: You do seem to be involved in a lot of large-scale RPG projects from your various posts on a number of forums. How is your progress?

Also you can check into some game development books for reference, other than that yeah you can. Traverity should join to.Good, then start learning by Googling "How a video game is made." You'll sabotage less by doing so.
Unless you want to have fifteen new ******** ripped open, I strongly suggest that you disregard me as a fit for your project. I strike without mercy, and tears are no defense against my wrath.
Scary huh? xD
Fifteen new what? And no not scared, just curious on what you mean by that? You should pm instead though, don't want to spam the thread.
Fifteen new rectal orifices, and I'd like to say this under the public eye:
I'm not available for any projects.
