The pack comes with 20 models. All models have a diffuse map, a normal map and a specular map. Some also have an illumination map.
I am going to include the PSD files, so you can change easily the colors. (all are 1024x1024)
I also made two versions of the specular and normal map. One is scratched/dirty, one is clean.
You can make the scratch layers invisible and get a nice and clean collection or go for the scratched/dirty/used version. Your choise!

The centrifuge and the generator are animated, the crate can be opened and the turret has a moveable tower.

I hope you guys like it.

Great work ! The metal really looks realistic, and the design is great !

I especially like the juice dispenser (#2) and the coffee machine (#3). (Just kidding.)

I just bought this. I love the models and the PSD files. But when I imported them in to unity the compressed PSD looked terrible, so I reserved the textures under Photoshops "Save for web and Devises" and saved them as jpg. Looks a lot better.

really?? that is wierd...normally the PDS looks much better than JPG and please save it as PNG or you will loose the Specular Alpha channel ;)

That is an utterly terrible idea. At the very least, save them as TGA's. JPG's, especially the saved for web ones, are terribly lossy.

I tried that as well, but the quality is just as bad. I'm developing for iOS, so not sure if that matters. but as far as these textures are concerned, JPG give me the best result.

I shouldn't be doing this (my own thread is on page 1), but - what the hell, this stuff is too great to be rotting on page 3!

I'm afraid we won't put them into action any time soon. First, it's for an indie project which is currently on hold and scheduled to be continued in some months when we've finished some contract projects. Secondly, I don't know whether we will use some of your original models in the game, or rather use them as reference for the artists who'll create the models specific to the project. (It's a space game where you assemble ships in third-person view from a set of basic pieces, which have to match into a 1 x 1 x 1 meter grid, have standardized conenctions for plasma conduits and cooling pipes, etc..)

    I agree.^^

Damn it. I'm beginning to think the asset store is just a big group of artists getting revenge on programmers by ravaging their defenseless wallets with tempting model packs such as this.

edit: Oops, I followed the link in your sig and got my forum threads mixed up -- meant to post regarding your new upcoming sci-fi model prefab pack. But this one looks good, too. Free bump I guess. ;)

Great models, very sci-fi indeed! I can tell they are well optimized and very clean (vertex wise!). I will enjoy throwing some of these into my mobile space game (we could always use more mobile space games!) and using the others in some future games. Great job!
