    Hi everyone!
    I began to make many effects.
    I am going to release those effects at an asset store.


    Any more idea?

    So are these made using shuriken? I ask because shuriken is better optimized than the standard particle system.

    Be great if the level didnt spin, gets a bit sickening having it constantly circle around when youre viewing the effects in the webplayer

    Not using shuriken particle.
    I'm installed unity 3.5 one month ago. But not worked asset store tool.
    Now I'm using 3.4 and legacy particle system.
    I want to maya like force system(turburance, uniform, vortexAxis) and easy to use expression tools at the shuriken particle.

    Amazing! I've always been impressed by the particles in recent Capcom fighting game, and this pretty much captures that! Looking forward to the rest of them.

    Hi there, really cool looking effects.

    How well do these run on iOS devices?

    Are they compatible with Unity basic? Is pro required?

    can you make effect like effect from japannese RPG (such as lightning fire ice or storm magic from FF or star ocean series)

    I don't have iOS license.
    Maybe work, but probably have a hard time running on iOS.
    Need to optimization.(particle rate, sprite texture size, etc...)

    FT series using legacy particle system.
    Unity basic version works fine!

    I am going to release small demo soon.
    You can test running on iOS.

    Nice effects! Can you however specify with packages are using shuriken and which of those aren't? Are there plans to convert the non shuriken ones to the new particle system?

    I do not have an iOS license.
    However, I got another partner to check this asset.
    It works fine by iOS.

    Now, only FT_Slasher is made by shuriken.
    After releasing new another one more asset, I am going to tackle shurikenization of the existing asset.

    Now, the sample scene of FT_slasher is made.
    about 2 weeks by it is due to release.

    Hi, the particles looks great, but the animation seems a little jerky. Is it expensive or the animated texture fps too low?

    Yeah the Magic Effects Volume 2, effects 2 and 4 animation looks jerky.

    By the way - the effects look spectacular. But what cost does that beauty come at - hows the performance with say - 10 or even 100 simultaneous effects of that complexity ( Regarding all packs - the legacy particle ones are the ones that seem like performance hogs to me )

    The animation of projectile02 and projectile04 was corrected :D

    Hi jedybg.
    Did you optimize? (particle count, texture size etc...)
    Magic effects volume01 is emitting much particle by the default.
    But volume02 is very simple texture animation.
    I created this asset (FT_MagicEffect volume02 and FT_Slasher) for a partner's iOS game.

    I'm buying the projectiles in a week, I was just curious if I had to optimize them additionally before use, but texture animations sound perfect!

    Thanks, I'm going to change a legacy effect convert shuriken effect in the near future.
    It may optimize then.

    Can u make the camera be able to rotate around the scene? If it is a texture animation, will it look ok if camera is moved?

    I tried camera around the scene.
    Sometimes, texture is flip. I make the simple plane polygon version, in order to correct this.
    This will not be a problem if you are making 2D game.
