[MMO] Chatty - Social MMO game

Hello,

Midgar Studio is pleased to present you its new real time social MMO game : Chatty.
Exported as webplayer integrated in Facebook, using your favorite web browser you can play easily with the streaming system.



The Midgar team :

- 2 Developers
- 2 3d Graphic designers
- 1 2d Graphic designer
- 1 Compositor

Features :

Chatty was designed to allow a large number of players to evolve and interact with some great features like :

- character manager : create and customize your avatar as you want.
- housing system : you can create your own home, place your furnitures, custom everything you want then invite your friends.
- quest system : everyone who played mmo, rpg, etc .. knows what is quest so it is not necessary to detail.
- minigames integrated
- emotes
- interactive gameobjects : use chair, bed, vehicle, etc ..
- chat and channels system

Server core is c# based. Allows interactions between clients, with all differents features.
All maps are instanciables so we can theoretically host an infinite number of players (who can switch between instances).

Maps :

Mahana and its skybox; We have chosen Unisky technology that allows more precise atmospheric control for colors and a day/night cycle more realistic.
The ocean is composed of a squares juxtaposed side by side, we give properties to the water as real refraction, reflectivity but also the amplitude and velocity of the waves or the appearance of foam.









Aluna is a fantastic map in work in progress.

so far i can only change the sex, skin color, eye color and eyebrow color...am i able to dress the avatar? Am I able to leave the dressing room?

 

You must enter your name (6-15 char) , and click on create button.
A green message will appear.And The Map will download (the pct is on right-bottom corner)

It looks amazing. what quests does it have?

 

@Jessie : For now, there are only a few types of quests. Use an item, talk to a NPC, someone has done an emote.
Quests are directed at the social level.By completing quests you can get "Sunnies" to buy items in.

also i just tried to play it, but the "jouer" button doesn't do anything.

Actualy we are working on Housing System. You can buy your house in district.Next to your friends or your new neighbors.

Here are some new images of the capital Aluna.
Many elements are animated and therefore these images are not truly representative.
This map is still under construction, much remains to place interactive objects and NPCs

Wow this is amazing work done! small team done such a good looking game, reminds me instantly of Sims Online lol but thats a good thing!
