I think the time has come that unity looks at supporting tablets
Agreed! When Unity 2.0 came out, with the Terrain Engine.
Ok let's all vote here to make this happen!
What I do, is use my votes on the highest items that haven't had action taken. Then I move the votes to the next thing down that I care about. So it may get my vote, eventually. I question how useful the site is, though. I can't imagine many people actually care about Linux support, and look how high its numbers are. UT still recommends that we use the site, but there's nothing preventing endless spam votes; that's got to be what happened with Linux. Also, in theory, every person gets the same number of votes, and not every person's desire is worth the same to the company. I'd be very interested to hear how UT actually evaluates the site, but if they wanted that to be public, they'd list how to have your desires count more.
Need more votes on the unity feedback site.
I totally support this, PLEASE vote and make it happen guys, this would be great, even if you don't have a tablet, people will be able to make much more amazing terrains and such with touch.
If you don't have a tablet there are plenty good, yet cheap ones around 70 bucks, I just got one it it is really nice for my first tablet.
Alright heads up unity:
You want to court bigger development studios? This is how you start.
They have the resources for unity licenses for their artists to work directly within the modded unity editor environment. Something like this out of the box will help stack the odds in your favour. Especially when their artists grok this.
It is not a big job.
let's put my Intuos4 to good use shall we?
Completely new to game development and Unity? don't know where to start? You don't have to be a n00b, click here and you'll be a pro in no time! The complete scripting series will bring you from zero to hero!
Really guys, get over it. Everyone these days wants a MMO not single player. I know we should start out small but times have changed. Anymore in the game industry no matter how small or large you have to go big or go home!
come on ninjas make it happen please!
so it up to the plugin makers to implement it? and does it work with unity terrain paint?
I have a WACOM Bamboo Pen & Touch with full intent to purchase the WACOM Cintiq HD24 Touch coming out this August as soon as feasible and will be using it as my primary display and input device. If I have a second monitor it will be for the sole purpose of 3D functionality and my only mouse input other than pen and touch functionality will be a trackball used for gaming, NOT for general navigation. My soon-to-be room mate has a 3DConnexion SpacePilot Pro I will also be using for 3D development purposes.
I NEED full WACOM compatibility. I second, third, fourth and ultimately tenth this movement, see your Mac and raise it a Windows.
Any news if this works in unity 4 now?
