I have tried running the Tropical Paradise demo and it runs very/ very slow after it loads ( like seeing each frame load). I can even see the wireframe box of the scene. The same problem on IE7 and Firefox 2

It runs ok on the Mac side.

I was running silverlight on XP which I uninstalled everything and still the same problem.

    Info:
Mac Pro laptop 2.4 Ghz running 10.5.2
    Running Windows XP on VMWare
2.0 GB memory - changed so 1.2 GB used for Windows

You're virtualizing Windows, not via boot camp?

on Virtualization you have no usefull shader performance so anything that will use the least bit of shader will run at a crawl as the shaders are done through CPU not GPU

try it through bootcamp for real comparision.

3D performance on virtual machines = very bad. It's useless as a meaningful comparison. As dreamora said, use Boot Camp. (The only half decent 3D I've ever seen on a virtual machine is with Classic on OS X, but that's kind of a special case.)

Thanks for the quick feedback. Didn't realize the issues with VMware.

    I will try Boot Camp.
