    Hello,
    I am developing a fabulous game about hordes zombies, pixelated gore, and destruction of all and everything called "My Fabulous End of the World".

    I am designing this game (it's nothing too ambitious, I swear) around 3 core ideas.
    Replayability (which everything else is based upon) is a must, modding is great and fabulous gratuitous destruction is amusing.
    I'm focusing on making as big portion of the game modable as possible, even in this early stage, player is able to create a lot of new objects and enemies.
    I'm also trying to make the destruction and killing as fun as possible, enemies limbs fly off separately, pixelated blood splatter around, (in the future) buildings are destroyable bit by bit.

    Final version of the game will consist of a half-dozen different game modes and a fully modable campaign, Alien Swarm/Unreal Tournament style (a string or pre-determined gamemode matches tied together with some nonsense in text format).
    Each match a new level will be procedurally generated out of the content available at the time of play (mods, mods, mods), hopefully ensuring lots of fun.

    I write a development log with videos and post it on my blog.

    once=great
    twice=nice
    third time=mmm cool but I've seen before
    four, five, six, seven times=enough -.-

    No problem, I like honest critique.

    I got that particular comment A LOT already, that's why I'm changing all the graphics from pixelart-style into more classical cel-shading style right now.

    Completely revamped the graphics since the version in OP. I'm now planning to make the whole game in this style instead.

    Looks great, I really like the progression. The video looks like a really solid prototype which demostrates the key mechanic. The asthetic in the latest screen shot looks great! I'm definitely going to be watching this one. Good luck!

    Thanks everyone. Yes, XIII is where I've got the idea for comic book style effects. I think it adds a great feeling to my game.
