    Maybe 3.4.1???

I'm hoping 3.5 is a Unite announcement thing.

Funny, Unity 3.4.1 is a bug fix release. After the installation, I started it. And ... it was hanging and I couldn't even quit it :). After a computer restart everything worked smooth as it should.

Can anyone clarify for me whether or not
means support for all Windows versions before Windows 2000 (eg Windows 95 and Windows 98) will cease?

I would think so yes. "Windows 2000, Mac OS 10.4 and earlier." would in my opinion include Windows 95 and 98.

Anybody else experiencing a terrible slow download speed for the update? 50 kb/s here on a 30 Mbit line.

Maybe it got overloaded once people came online, it was announced originally five hours ago.
A couple of hours ago I downloaded it at 2.2 MB per second.

@MattCarr - At this time Unity doesn't offer support for Windows 98, Windows 95 or older. Support is offered for Unity-authored content on Windows 2000, and the editor will run on XP, Vista and Win7. As has been said already this is probably going to change in Unity3.5, but full details will be released nearer the time of release.

Full details of what's supported can be found here - http://unity3d.com/unity/system-requirements.

Hopes this clears things up for you.

Well lets hope this version is a little more stable. I love unity , but 35+ crashes in under 6 hours , that was my record with the last version.
