Something evil is stirring at the Temple Of Amlyn. An ancient ceremony has gone awry, the temple's priests are missing, and the King is demanding answers. It's up to you to rescue the priests and bring their mysterious abductors to justice. The fate of your people may well rest entirely on your shoulders!

    * Explore gorgeous 3D environments as you descend deep into an unknown world.
    * Battle the servants of evil as they fight to prevent you from reaching your goal.
    * Find treasures and hidden secrets throughout the dungeon's many levels.
    * Control a party of two characters who must search for clues, and attempt to unravel the mystery.
    * Classic first-person, grid-based movement, and turn-based combat recall the great RPGs of old.

Descend is a dungeon crawling RPG inspired by old-school classics, painstakingly hand-crafted for fans of the genre.

Awesome. Best of luck with the release. May the apple gods place it on the app store front page and bestow many months of top-ten placements for you!

Happy to report that Descend (or "Descend RPG") hit the App Store today! My first "BIG" Unity release :)

If you'd like to check it out, either this link, or this one should get you there.

Hey guys - just adding a few promo codes if anyone wants to try out Descend. I'll try to add some more later once I figure out whether or not I'm going to need them elsewhere.

I heard the same thing. 95% sure you can't review a promo-code-bought copy anymore.

Just a little update, Descend v1.2 is out today with performance enhancements, and initial set of Game Center Achievements, and a couple of new mechanics to address some difficulties that players were reporting.

The game is also now FREE, so give it a shot if you haven't previously.

If it's not visible on your store right away just check back a little later.

No - never. Descend is iOS only.

If my new dungeon crawler ever happens (www.coldfirekeep.com) then it will be iOS, Windows/MacOS. That one's not looking good though as I've run out of money to put into it :(

Yep - same influences that went into Grimrock also went into Descend. Those guys are just much more talented than me :)

Brings me back. Yes I'm old.
I love it. Great job!!! Makes me think of the week long marathons playing Meridian59.

This is just the type of thing I like to see in the unity community.

It's finding things like that which almost make you feel like a "REAL Game Developer"... well, almost... :)

OK... just figured out that it must be some sort of automatic scrape of the App Store cause my other games are on there too. Less excited now... move along... nothing to see here :)
