You're thinking about making a new one or your first one?
You're seriously expecting for someone to just throw a gameidea at you? |

Not supposed to be funny.
I totally agree that many people have ideas about a game they want to make and don't have the time.
But just giving it away, don't see the point in that.
If you're looking to work on a project you have to at least show what you've done so far and what you're abilities are. |

Having a great game idea is maybe one of the hardest challenges when it comes to game development. Most of the people using this forum are game developers so they probably won’t give away game ideas. But here is a site that may inspire you and get you on the right track: http://www.mygameideas.com/
I hope this helps _________________ Ivan Moen - Developer

Then build a FPS... Why do you want the community to tell you what to do? There are plenty of FPSs out there, just pick a genre you like and start designing the game play. _________________ cm9zZXMgYXJlICNGRjAwMDANCnZpb2xldHMgYXJlICMwMDAwRkYNCmFsbCBteSBiYXNlDQphcmUgYmVsb25nIHRvIHlvdQ== |

i am asking for a certain aspect of a game that somebody liked. i am sorry if i needed to be more specific. i just wanted the game to be more entertaining for more people. _________________ Rated E for Exceptional |

If this is your first FPS game, then the storyline should probably be the least of your worries. Focus on gameplay, first. Build a test level, get the basics working right, make it fun to move around and shoot stuff
Personally, I wouldn't even spend time on a story. Just find a theme, clear objectives and start building. No story is better than a bad one.

I like lighting things on fire, and it seems there's a lack of games where the goal is to light everything on fire |

I like that. Flamethrower's everybody's favorite
Or fire could be the main element of the game and you as the player are controlling it by using your flame-, wind- and waterthrower.
The goal would be to, for example, get rid of certain plants on a field and at the same time you're protecting all the wanted plants.
Kind of like 'Falling Sand', but first person and with nice graphics.
