| A number of forums have the option to put forum members on their "friend" or "foe" list. Considering how large this forum has grown, and the "less than friendly" tone that certain members exhibit, it would sure be nice to just block each and every one of their posts so I don't have to bother seeing their nastiness.

That and few changes like:
1) Option to allow users to view more than the dafault number of posts and thread on one page (helps if you don't want to keep on clicking "next" after every few posts).
2) Make the skin fit to width or at least 80% of the screen or make the default text larger for the forum without having us zoom the whole page on higher resolutions.

I don't think you should ever be allowed to vote and get someone deleted, and any post-banning should only be local to your account (hide who's on your foe list, for example).
One thing that is also pretty great on other forums, especially community ones like this which have a lot of Q&A is a promote/demote system (Thanks/Groan system).

I think you misunderstood what I'm requesting. Some forums have allow you to choose whose posts you don't want to see (foes) and whose posts you'd like to be notified about (friends). See the attached screenshot.

I understood the concept of friend and foe. My reply about "banning people" was in response to Discord's suggestion.
Friend and foe would definitely help, especially after UT announcements which generate some hot-headed topics.

A way to indicate or visually earn trust would be kinda cool for new users to get an idea of who's who - most likely in context to buildIng work teams etc. I've seem the karma voting system on a few sites.

Ok Tempest, simple misunderstanding then. I agree, I don't think users should be able to "ban" another user nor is this wish requesting that.
